1992	Malia Movement Company (MMCo) founded by Malia Connor.
1993	Premiere of Heap of Lava. (4-part suite) San Francisco Dance Connections, McKenna Theater, SF State University Robert Henry Johnson Dance Company (premiere). MMCo featured as guest company. Third Wave Dance Studio (Dance Mission), San Francisco.
1994	Black Choreographers' Moving to the 21st Century - Four members of MMCo perform choreography of master Dunham technique teacher, Dr. Albirda Rose. Theater Artaud, SF
1994	Collaboration with Mingus Amungus - Members of MMCo tour with jazz ensemble until 2000.
1995	Undeniably Woman - Collaboration of five female choreographers at 3 theaters: Dance Gallery, Santa Cruz; The Upper Room, SF; Exit Theater, SF.
2001	California Choreographer's Festival - MMCo selected/invited to perform for Southern California dance festival. Malia featured as master class for participating dance companies. Laguna Beach, CA
2003	Sisters and Allies Showcase. Spoken Word Event. MMCo performs spoken word and improvisational movement piece. Black Box Theater, Oakland, CA
2004	Just Add Water, a collection of spoken word created by Malia Connorto commemorate 10th anniversary of Mingus Amungus. Book release and signing event. Alameda, CA
2005	Black Choreographer's Festival. Heap of Lava reworked and performed with Kaiaulu Hula Halau. Theater Artaud, San Francisco, CA; Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts, Oakland, CA ChoreoFest 05. Presented spoken word and exerpts from Heap of Lava for on-site, environmental piece. 2006	National Dance Week Kick-Off Performance. MMCo presented spoken word and movement piece. Union Square, San Francisco, CA Knight Moves. 2007	Black History Program 2007 - MMCo chosen as one of three performers for Black History Month event held for federal and state employees. Federal Building, San Francisco, CA Spring Dance Concert, MMCo choreographs piece for dance students to perform at their Spring concert. Capuchino High School, San Mateo, CA Just Add Water - Where Hip-Hop Culture Embraces Contemporary Dance. Evening length program of MMCo performances.
